The American Association for Justice (“AAJ”) has launched a new online grassroots campaign called Take Justice Back. The site aims to inform consumers about the justice system and the ways in which corporations are using that system to erode their rights.

The site is penned by a group of trial lawyers who have years of experience fighting for the rights of individuals. From the site’s about page:

“We launched Take Justice Back because nothing concerns us more than the erosion of our civil justice system.  We are not anti-corporate; business built this great country into what it is today. But when corporations act irresponsibly they must be held accountable just like anybody else.”

Consumers are encouraged to visit the site get informed about the latest threats to generic drugs and medical devices as well as delve into the stories of real consumers who have suffered tragedy for the sake of company saving a couple cents. Consumers should get to know groups, like the Institute for Legal Reform and Civil Justice Reform Group, who are seeking the kind of reform that will benefit their large corporate backers, not the average consumer.

Wexler Wallace has long supported the mission of the AAJ. Paul Bland, a senior attorney at the AAJ, wrote a blog post in titled “Disappearing Cases” that appeared on this site. We urge you to take a look at Take Justice Back and get informed about your consumer rights.
