Result: $75 Million settlement

WBE and co-counsel negotiated a $75 million settlement to resolve claims that Plaintiffs and other Farmers agents were misclassified as independent contractors under California law. In addition to monetary relief, Farmers agreed to specific business model and contract changes, including eliminating both the right to terminate the agent agreement without cause and the one-year post-termination non-solicitation provision previously in place.
