Working with WBE

Your Team

Once you become a WBE client, we will designate a member of the firm as your primary contact to keep you informed of the progress of any investigations or cases we are handling for you. A team of lawyers, paralegals and support staff will work on your behalf. For large cases, we frequently work with other top-tier law firms representing additional clients. No matter the case, we will strive to devote the legal talent and resources available for successful prosecution.

Confidentiality

We take the confidence our clients have placed in us very seriously. Unless you expressly grant permission, we will never discuss your matters with any person or organization outside the firm or our co-counsel.

Fee and Cost Estimates

On request, WBE will give clients an estimate of anticipated fees and costs based on the provided information, an assessment of the work involved, the complexity of the matter and the need for expert consultation and testimony.

In litigation, we have no control over the actions of our opponents, whose strategic decisions directly impact the amount of time and expenses that must be devoted to a case. As we keep our clients informed of developments in their cases, we also apprise them of any financial impact these developments may have on the original estimates.

Fees and disbursements are agreed upon before we undertake the case and definitively spelled out in our retainer agreement.

Working with Co-Counsel

WBE is frequently brought into cases by co-counsel to work with them and their clients on issues of wide-ranging and significant impact.

In-House Services

For visiting attorneys, clients and other parties actively involved in our work, we provide in-house services at our Chicago location. Our conference facilities, wireless access, offices, staff, and resources are at your disposal.
