TFT-LCD (Flat Panel) Antitrust Litigation

Court: United States District Court, Northern District of California

Case No.: MDL No. 1827

WBE was among the plaintiffs’ counsel that brought suit on behalf of indirect purchasers against manufacturers of Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Displays (“TFT-LCDs”), alleging that defendant manufacturers conspired to raise and fix the prices of TFT-LCD panels.  On March 28, 2010, the Judge Susan Illston certified a class of buyers of laptop computers, computer monitors and televisions that contained TFT-LCDs.  On March 29, 2013, Judge Illston issued final approval to settlements totaling $1.1 billion for the indirect purchaser class.  The time to file claims in these settlements has since expired.
