Ford Exhaust System Safety Defect Litigation

Court: United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois

David Schiesser v. Ford Motor Company, Case No.: 15-cv-09882

Plaintiffs in this case allege that a defect in 2011-2015 model year Ford Explorers allows harmful and potentially lethal exhaust gases to invade the passenger compartment. The potential exposure to carbon monoxide renders these vehicles unsafe to drive. Ford is aware of the problem, and has issued a service bulletin, but the proposed fix is ineffective. WBE has brought suit for car owners affected by this serious problem.
